annualcreditreport.com. You are allowed to get a copy of your credit report free once a year.
There are lots of places that offer 3-in-1 credit reports. Most even offer it for free – well it’s actually a free trial period. As long as you cancel in time, you pay nothing.
I would also like to add if you go to one of those sites, and also get a score, it won’t be your actual FICO score. These types of scores are commonly called FAKO scores. Myfico.com offers real legitimate Fico scores but they do not offer free trials or at least not typically.
So if you just want a credit report, do a yahoo search and pick one, if you are interested in getting a fico score, go to myfico.com
Lastly, the big three (Equifax, Experian, Transunion) are the 3 major bureaus that these 3-in-1 companies will offer reports on, but don’t forget about Innovis. They are far less popular, but they are popular enough that it will serve you well to make sure everything in that report is correct.
You have to call them up to get it, there is no instant online access. After you call them up and request your report, they will send it to you and it usually arrives in 5 business days or so. With your report, they will include a username and password so you can view your report online and dispute online if needed.
